![]() ![]() It’s actually one of the best parts of this series, the interactions between the various, and colorful supporting cast. The real strength of the issue comes between the growing relationship between Kori and Sol, as well as her relationship with Stella. Unfortunately with this fight, there really wasn’t. Stories are more engaging when there is drama and tension, and not knowing if the hero will be able to overcome the obstacles in front of them. It really could have benefited from having a character that was on the same level as Kori. There was really nothing engaging about his character, just a rather generic alien bounty hunter, who we’re supposed to believe is one of the best in the galaxy, only to be beaten up like a rookie. I get that you want to showcase Starfire’s powers but after so much build up over the last few issues with Kragg and this whole bounty hunter subpot, the fight between him and Starfire was a real dud. While the fight scene was a highlight for Lupacchino, it ended up hurting the overall story for me, personally. Overall it was a pretty decent issue filled with some breathtaking art by Lupacchino, even if the story was rather dull. ![]() It was written by Mariko Tamaki and illustrated by Yoshi Yoshitani. The issue ends with a certain, major character from Kori’s past arriving in Key West and boy am I excited to see how this goes down. I Am Not Starfire is a DC Comics graphic novel released under its DC Young Adult imprint. It is a coming-of-age story that explores what it is like growing up as the child of a superhero when you have no superpowers of your own. This was a pretty interesting part of Kori to show, since we are all so used to the naïve and caring Kori, but once you mess with the people she loves, she can turn stone cold. I Am Not Starfire is a DC Comics Young Adult graphic novel focusing on an original character who is Starfire’s teenage daughter, Mandy. She warns him that she’ll kill him if she hurts the people of Key West and with that, she drags him back to his ship and sends him on his merry way. Even Kragg’s weapons are no match for her, as she’s easily able to slip through his net before beating him. Along with the trailer we also got an excerpt from the. The two of them get into a large fight with Kori easily getting the upper hand on the villain. I am Not Starfire is a story about teenagers and/as aliens about knowing where you come from and where you are going and about mothers. It’s not until he disrupts Kori’s breakfast with Sol where things start picking up. He’s your typical, and rather generic villain, who makes a grand entrance while the cops try stopping him to no avail. Meanwhile, the story cuts to the bounty hunter, Kragg, as he arrives to Earth. ![]()
